KinderGARDENS S is for Sunflower

We planted a sunflower house twice.Here is what we learned:

• Animals eat the seeds - we put up fencing
• Sunflowers are heavy feeders - we planted in compost, next year we will use manure
• 6 inches is too far away - ours have small heads so they are not interfering with each other. It just didn't look right.

We did grow some beautiful flowers. I look forward to saving some seeds and eating the rest.
