St Louis

On the way to Lake St Louis we stopped at the Soulard Market for some fruit and mini donuts. There were no donuts but Anna was so wide eyed at all the people, and stuff, she spent most of the time hanging off the front of her seat wide eyed. She loved every inch. So many grapes and strawberries. As we drove through the city on the streets Anna loved the towers and the Arch too out the car window. We did not stop because of a light rain.

Our hosts the Huffmans have a couple black dogs. While one is as shy as a turtle the other is quite friendly. Say hello to Charger.

We are now in Lake St Louis Missouri visiting our friends from Summit Community Church where we attend 3 to 5 years ago. Some changes, some exactly the same. And so much completely new.

The same for the town! Drove past our old house, can't say we liked the decorations in the front yard, but we don't own the place. I thought that there were too many cracks in the sidewalk and other things... but it was a good house and it is still lived in.

Enough negative. It was great to have new friends pull us aside and pray for us after the Church service. It was great to spend so much time with so many friends. Next time you see Mike and Amber ask about the ball room dancing lessons. And I am so amazed at how grown up Micah and Jen's three little girls are.
I think we should have spent even more time in town and visited even more people. There was more people we did not see that we wanted to than we were able to see.
On our way out of town we stopped at Nancy's favorite quilt shop (look for her thoughts on her blog) It was sad to learn that it is closing down. The owner will still sell some fabrics at shows and on the Internet. I found a cute little red and white print to take home with me. Took a picture of it on the rack first.

  2. Home then Detroit!

Yes they have lots of fruit in India. I heard it said they throw away as much spoiled / uneaten fruit as all the the USA consumes.
